Bidaha in Islam emerged under human learned behavior on the law of association and law of generalization. This behavior is learned under flow of over-excitement and unconsciously following others versions without using reason. Bidaha means adding new concepts or practices which were never practiced by the Prophet or by his devoted companions. Later, the new Muslims added exaggerated picture of the Prophet, his companions, saints and their religious favorite personalities, considering them authorized to bless, forgive and resolve all their issues in life. The follower of these practices turned the monotheism of Islam into polytheism by visiting their favorite saint’s shrines, bowing to graves, contributing money on the celebration of their anniversaries, or using drugs for getting high during dancing to pursue onlookers to join them in their creeds of Bidaha.
Public processions are a way to seek power, attention and superiority over the rival sects. One of the main causes of terrorism in Muslims is that they become sentimental to such an extent that they forget the messages of the Qur’an regarding peace, Muslim brotherhood, and tolerance and performing religious obligations in the respected place of worship. The Holy Prophet’s main declaration is that there is no compromise in Islamic monotheism with the polytheism. It is reminded in the Qur’an as in
a. V-109:1-6,” Say (O Muhammad () to these Mushrikun and Kafirun): "O Al-Kafirun (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, in His Angels, in His Books, in His Messengers, in the Day of Resurrection, and in Al-Qadar, etc.)!”I worship not that which you worship, "Nor will you worship that which I worship.”And I shall not worship that which you are worshipping... "Nor will you worship that which I worship.”To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islamic Monotheism).”
b. Muslim daily committees in each rikat of slat that, V-112:1-4,” Say (O Muhammad ()): "He is Allah, (the) One.”Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks)."He begets not, nor was He begotten; "And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."
c. Only He commands to get it done as Allah says and it is done V-16:40,” Verily! Our Word unto a thing when We intend it is only that We say unto it: "Be!" and it is.”
d. Allah has set forth a system only under His control and commandV-14:32-34.
Allah is the great judge and authority of the universe. Justice for individual deeds is the basic law of Divine. It is repeatedly made clear to the human beings, V-53:38-42,” That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. And that man can have nothing but what he does hang (good or bad). And that his deeds will be seen, Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense and that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything).”
Only Allah blesses all type of needs etc. only and no one in the universe has the authority to do so, V-53:43-45,” And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female,”
Misunderstanding that a sect or certain people will be blessed due to profit is narrated that Prophet’s duty is the messages and mercy is the sole authority of Allah, V-42:48,” But if they turn away (O Muhammad from the Islamic Monotheism, which you have brought to them). We have not sent you (O Muhammad) as a Hafiz (protector) over them (i.e. to take care of their deeds and to recompense them). Your duty is to convey (the Message). And verily, when We cause man to taste of Mercy from Us, he rejoices thereat, but when some ill befalls them because of the deeds which their hands have sent forth, then verily, man (becomes) ingrate!”
Those who bow head and ask for the provisions from saints are corrected by the declaration of a Muslim which is based on the basic principle of praying to and obeying the Almighty Allah only without involving any associates, V-42:15-18,” So unto this (religion of Islam, alone and this Qur’an) then invite (people) (O Muhammad ), and Istaqim [(i.e. stand firm and straight on Islamic Monotheism by performing all that is ordained by Allah (good deeds, etc.), and by abstaining from all that is forbidden by Allah (sins and evil deeds, etc.)], as you are commanded, and follow not their desires but say: "I believe in whatsoever Allah has sent down of the Book [all the Holy books, this Qur’an and the Books of the old from the Taurat (Torah), or the Injeel (Gospel) or the Pages of Ibrahim (Abraham)] and I am commanded to do justice among you, Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us our deeds and for you your deeds. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will assemble us (all), and to Him is the final return. And those who dispute concerning Allah (His Religion of Islamic Monotheism, with which Muhammad has been sent), after it has been accepted (by the people), of no use is their dispute before their Lord, and on them is wrath, and for them will be a severe torment. It is Allah Who has sent down the Book (the Qur’an) in truth and the Balance (i.e. to act justly). And what can make you know that perhaps the Hour is close at hand? Those who believe not therein seek to hasten it, while those who believe are fearful of it, and know that it is the very truth. Verily, those who dispute concerning the Hour are certainly in error far away.”

During the period of Muhammad (PBUH), Quresh, Jews and Christians confronted the Prophet’s preaching with various aggressive plans and used temptation to sabotage the Muslims’ cause and monotheism. A group of self-proclaimed Muslims damaged unity among Muslims through their dual character. These were pointed out as Munafqeens in Qur’an. In fact, Munafqeens were very active in planning against Muslims by planning secretly with kefirs. Apparently they confirmed the Prophet but were so hypocritical that Muslim should be aware of their glib appearances as they created rumors, played with the sentiments of true believer and passed misinformation in the community to create fights and confusions among the new Muslims in their faith. Such practices are common in Muslim society where certain double-faced people, especially in the rural and tribal areas, run this business to take advantage of traditional faith of common man who act blindly and become extreme in nature to follow their directions.
The Qur’anic verses recalled how some groups would ask their prophets repeatedly to show miracles and the power of God if they are true, and only then would they follow God’s message, but when such miracles appeared , they broke their oaths after getting favors. At the time of the Prophet, Jewish religious leaders took benefits of the needs of their followers as being a gifted nation of God; they claimed hellfire will not touch them and no serious punishment for their great sins. They applied this practice with the Prophet and his followers to create confusion in the new believers. The Prophet was guided to pay no attention to these people because when they did not obey the command after seeing the miracles and special blessings of God, they will never follow Islam due to their rivalry of his prophet-hood, selected out of their precedence of prophets. So, be careful and avoid their intrigues and God will help you in your mission of Islam.

When Bani Israel (Jewish tribe), Nisara (Christian tribe) or kefir challenged Muhammad (PBUH) about past events which were given in their Holy books or Old Testament, God revealed the facts to him to answer their queries which was astonishing to them. It is an attribute of God that He is not bound to reveal His verses and knowledge to His creature, and He tests endurance and patience in His beloved people and prophets. Therefore, when the Prophet was seeking information about challenges of non-believer, he had to wait till He wished to reveal the exact reality of an incident; at times people ridiculed the Prophet but then God sent His message to provide knowledge to His Prophet.
The verdicts of the Qur’an demand the reader to see, Who is communicating at present in creating awareness of Islam: What to Whom, Why, When, Where and How to act out under certain circumstances and with which motives to gain reward for the actions in life. In Qur’an, God/Creator (Who) is addressing to (Whom) human beings/ creatures are (Why) ignorant for providing them (What) guidance/knowledge to followers (When) while dealing in the psych-social (Where) environment and (How) revealed it to the Prophet for guidance to act for reward on the Day of Judgment.
The Prophet created a team of Hafiz, scholars to collect and write the verses of Holy Book under his direction. There was a devoted team of preachers who were guided by him and they keep on spreading Islam by preaching, teaching and training according to Qur’an and his mannerism. Islam spread so fast that even some oppressed nations invited Muslims to take over the territory to apply the Islamic justice system in their community. When Muslim covered areas of Africa, Asia and Europe and the foreign language speakers embraced Islam, there appeared a need of comprehension of the true spirit of the verses of Qur’an which were revealed to the Prophet at specific times and events. Certain misunderstanding in interpretation of the verses created confusion. At later stages, the cause of translation and creating comprehension of Islam was left to certain preachers who instead of resolving small differences in the interpretation of verses became so rigid and developed prestige problems in presenting references that various sects and group emerged in Islam. The rationalist group appeared who were involved in philosophical debates and avoided the true practices of Islam and mannerism of the Prophet. Most of the scholars in Islam were from non-Arabic speaking nations and had less insight of the rich Arabic language, and preferred their own views instead of going into the true meaning of the verses and mannerism of the Prophet.
At this stage for the introduction of Islam to non-believers and the ease of their followers as well as personal hold on the authority of religion, they indirectly blended the cultural aspects of the prevailing religions with their practice. Due to this practice in Islam, various rituals, superstitions, shrine worship, gift contributions to saints for the relief of sins, annual ceremonial processions to celebrate favorite saints, bowing and asking for help from the dead bodies or any associated object have been taken as worshipping practices instead of comprehending Qur’an, following mannerism of the Prophet or obligatory practices of praying five time, paying Zakat, fasting or following ethical codes of Islam. In this way, Islam which has monotheism as the nucleus has been badly damaged by the Muslims, who in the blind faith and honor of their religious leaders, have been involved like chuffer (bowing and getting help other than God), involved in Bidaha (new additions in Muslim practices), and sectarianism (knowingly when Qur’anic text is present for guidance). Some of these practices are close to Hindu rituals, ceremonies, festivals, bowing to animals, following cultural affairs over true religious restrictions and orders. They have introduced the Jewish practice of the concepts that certain people are gifted and have power to get forgiveness for the sins of others if they are gratified, like the shrine-keepers, or applied the Christian concept that besides Allah (God), other of his beloved Prophet are worthy of blessing the followers.
Historically, in 3rd/4th hijra Umar bin Mullah Muhammad Muesli presented his idea of Mawlid to the Sultan Abil, king of Egypt and thus he started the celebration of the Mawlid. Anniversary celebration started about 587 AH/1192 CE Jamal-ud Din Almamoon Fatimid Caliph King al- Muzzaffat Kukaboori (549-630). Fatimid dynasty Leader of Menhaden Imam, King of Irbil, Abu Sa’aeed Al-Muzaffar bin Baktakeen Kawkabriyy initiated regularly in 7th hijra, on those festival billions were spent to overcome the bad governance by attracting the Muslims for personal fame in the Ummah. Although their intention was based on good feelings but it led to polytheism and disgraced the basic faith in Islam that Allah is the only one and no one else is worthy to be equated with Him in any form.
Exhibitions in Islam are never encouraged as in performing religious duties, the relation between an individual and Creator is a personal spiritual bond of understanding. Qur’an discourages such public acts as they will be thrown back to such persons on the Day of Judgment. Although the Fatimid’s introduced new practices among Muslims, with the emergence of Ottoman empires, the Turks added fabricated acts or innovations Historically, there is difference of opinions about the exact date of the Prophet’s birth, despite which certain classical scholars of Islam find the celebration a radical shifts in Islam.
Every verse of Qur’an has a meaning if an individual deeply considers its reference and reason of its delivery, time, environment and prevailing conditions. Unfortunately sometimes, certain interpreters project their own sectarian beliefs and indirectly they are replaying the same role as the religious heads of Bani Israel and Nisara after the death of their Prophets. In Qur’an, such practices are warned with worst punishment and that these hypocrites will be not forgiven for these actions.
Those who look for help other then Allah through the sources of shrines, idols or associates will be in an awkward state on the Day of Judgment as every overt and covert intention is under knowledge of Allah, V-28: 62-69,” And (remember) the Day when He will call to them, and say: "Where are My (so-called) partners whom you used to assert?" Those about whom the Word will have come true (to be punished) will say: "Our Lord! These are they whom we led astray. We led them astray, as we were astray ourselves. We declare our innocence (from them) before You. It was not us they worshipped." And it will be said (to them): "Call upon your (so-called) partners (of Allah), and they will call upon them, but they will give no answer to them, and they will see the torment. (They will then wish) if only they had been guided! And (remember) the Day (Allah) will call to them, and say: "What answer gave you to the Messengers?"Then the news of a good answer will be obscured to them on that day, and they will not be able to ask one another. But as for him who repented (from polytheism and sins, etc.), believed (in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad), and did righteous deeds (in the life of this world), then he will be among those who are successful. And your Lord creates whatsoever He wills and chooses, no choice have they (in any matter). Glorified be Allah, and exalted above all that they associate as partners (with Him). And your Lord knows what their breasts conceal, and what they reveal.”
Presently, the common Muslim and the new covert are trapped in misinformation due to poor knowledge of the Qur’anic language and cultural rituals leading to confusion of the true meanings of the Holy Book. There are the mannerisms of the Prophet to get guidance and to avoid extreme bifurcation among the Muslims. Due to personal gains, political affiliation, and the desire to control the masses under their ego, the religious leaders of various groups and scholars have divided the Muslims. It is painful to add that such biased scholars in Islam knowingly have introduced extremism and terrorism practices in the peaceful life of Muslim communities and nations. Under their prejudice, Muslim prefer to gain help from the non-Muslim groups and countries to crush their rivals as was done during the period of Ahale-kitab or during the opposition of Holy Prophet.
On the other hand, Gulf and Arab money has come up across southern Punjab parts of Pakistan and tribal areas of Pak-Afghan areas with the mushroom growth of madressahs, and clerics associated with these institutions have gained power and influence by joining politico-religious parties. They are intolerant, and promote terrorism and extremism under the name of promoting of Islamic values to actually gain control in the region by creating law and order situation, damaging the state and harassing common citizens.

Those religious people claim to be custodians or gadi nasheen of the religious saints of Islam. They celebrate the death anniversaries with great pomp and show, have religious dances and pay tributes to their saints; their devoted followers go to these shrines to get amulets to control their worries and family issues. Some followers even bow their heads to these leaders and take sacrificial animals for blessing; they refuse to call these Bidaha in the name of the miracle and super powers of their pirs/saints and that they will keep on doing it as having been done by their forefathers. In the tribal areas, poor and illiterate people with no exposure to information are blind followers of semi-educated tribal leaders. Most of the terrorism and extremism has emerged from these sponsored Mullah and semi-educated Muslims.
Those who contribute to shrines, attend feasts arranged to attract with music and drugs, and ask favors for personal solutions need to purify their faith in Islamic monotheism and reorganize by following obligatory practices like Salat, Zakat, fasting and at least once in life to Hajj, as stated in these verses V-7: 31-33,” O Children of Adam! Take your adornment (by wearing your clean clothes), while praying and going round (the Tawaf of) the Kaaba, and eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allah) likes not Al-Musrifun (those who waste by extravagance). Say “Who has forbidden the adoration with clothes given by Allah, which He has produced for his slaves, and At-Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (lawful) things] of food?" Say: "They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) exclusively for them (believers) on the Day of Resurrection (the disbelievers will not share them)." Thus We explain the Ayat (Islamic laws) in detail for people who have knowledge. Say "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al-Fawahish whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners with Allah for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge."
The concept of special power of religious leader and their ability to recommend for paradise is considered contradictory in Qur’an by Allah (God). Strict verses indicate that all are alike in the judgment of the Creator, as clearly mentioned in V-31:33,” O mankind! Be afraid of your Lord (by keeping your duty to Him and avoiding all evil), and fear a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, let not then this (worldly) present life deceive you, nor let the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah.“
Qur’an has a logical presentation about human nature. Man has been warned to be careful in eating and drinking and avoids those prohibited to him because the prohibited material is harmful. Muslim were strictly prohibited to use narcotics or such drinks which control their intellectual and reasoning power to differentiate between right or wrong, good or evil actions in life. It is pointed that toxins like alcohol, drugs and stimulants are the source of the evil as the user becomes wild and helpless to use his senses.
Islam is a simple religion with emphasis on practices with a direct mental link to God. It is against exhibitions to impress others through meaningless ceremonial activities. During the time of the Holy Prophet and later, his followers only concentrated on following obligation sincerely. According to Islamic lunar calendar, the Prophet told them to worship more vigorously, fast, stay late at night in reading Qur’an for self-correction, and contribute to needy people and reduce the economic gap in the masses. Only two big days of celebrations were exercised on Eidains, but all other prescribed religious days were honored; followers were directed to visit the graves of their dearest and pray to God for their forgiveness and blessing on the Day of Judgment. There is no history of celebration of anniversary of the Prophet till about 6th century when a Turk ruler named Kab Kaboori after observing the graceful anniversary of celebrations of Christ by the Christians got excited and introduced the celebration practices among the Muslim community. After his sponsoring practice, this Bidaha started in Muslims to such an extent that the newly converted from various cultural background adapted it like a regular faith and even introduced luxurious celebrations of their local religious saints under the supervision of the custodians of various shrines. Big processions, exaggerated poetry, music, great feasts and glorious gatherings have become devoted practices for ignorant and sentimental followers. Qur’an had abolished these practices by describing the fate of such Ahale-kitab who used religion to derail the followers for their personal gains and created various groups only for their personal interest, so they will be called to question on Day of Judgment for misguiding the people. Since most non-Arabic speakers recite the Qur’an without any sense of its meanings, every Muslim of this modern age needs to comprehend the Qur’an with its background and Allah’s reasons for delivering it.
