Part 1-7: A SPIRITUAL LINE OF DEMARCATION IN LOVE

At times, Ruh seeks soothing state which may create feelings of highness and an intoxicated state of mindfulness like Sufism. The feelings of highness are a common phenomenon in healthy Ruh/soul when one seeks soothing altered state of mind in rhythmic activities like music or melodious songs, etc. How to enjoy music or songs creating a state of highness lost in the past sweet memory depends on the mental set up and personal taste in literature and related factors.

Under natural thinking process, when someone is in a pensive mood, the process of incubation takes place, and Ruh is charged with creativity, this phenomenon is more common in thinkers, scientists and poets. There is a fine line of demarcation between a logical creativity and fantasy leading to mental derailment.

There are two types of active fantasies, one self-created under self-control, while the second one is induced unconsciously by uncontrolled dangerous flow of mental thoughts like a neurotic state; a third one is emerging as a common feature in fast moving social-cultural life pattern under self-pity as psycho-somatic ailments.

The love or sentiment of love is a complicated process. So, if one is in extreme love of objects (provisions), one may apply abnormal means of corruption and even having all, still feel empty, with insecurity and abnormal greed. On the other hand, if one is patriotic and fights for the country, it is a great national award. If a romance is based on mutual understanding over a period of time with sincere devotion, it mostly ends in unification of a long-lasting marital bond whereas if it is based on apparent sexual desire, it ends like divorce after a honeymoon period.

Love among devoted ones is an internal involvement between the two souls which travels into a deep long-lasting emotional bond beyond the physical one. It may be free of superficial expression and a psychic/spiritual connection is established where both are joined as the ideal ones. It is based on the reality or physical grounds but when it turns out of control, then it becomes a deep fantasy love where one may even lose the self and is absorbed to such an extent that one may have acute depression or commit suicide when one loses the dear one. History is full of such incidents and stories.

As all abnormalities after birth are adjusted in belief system and cultural taboos in an innocent child in computerizing it with social programming, so it can be resolved or rehabilitated depending on how much has been damaged at what stage of life by whom with what type of emotional intensity by coming and inducing a fruitful rapport (sex, age, status, religion, education, professional insight) with a therapist.

Despite it if when two Ruh’s are deeply interactive at the same frequency of even telepathy, a unique mutual mental contact is based on deep understanding of each other’s habit pattern. If it is not based on facts, the derailed fantasy may lead to loss of self-control to such an extent that the sick Ruh loses its entity by absorbing other’s control and wandering like the insane. It is reminded that God does not like trouble-makers (Al-Maida V-5:64), extremists (Al-Maida V-5 :87) and they must know that they all created will return to him for the accountability process for their deeds (Al-Imran V-3:109).

When a Ruh is over-whelmed by the sentiments of love or aggression, it loses the reasoning skills. Therefore, in this state one can claim to be a god or prophet, or even take a prophet or a saint as equivalent to the sole Creator, forgetting to discriminate between the creature (insaan/Bashar) and the Creator (Allah/God). History is full of such incidents when under law of association, blind followers took the departed Ruh like the Master/Provider of the universe, started bowing to their graves and sculptures, celebrating anniversaries, chanting slogans, and asking for provisions which are quite contradictory to the life-long preaching of monotheism by the holy prophets or saints.

Religious fantasies develop from love for the saints and prophets: when it goes beyond reasoning, people with blind faith lose the senses to demark between a human being and the Creator. So, under law of association, they take the beloved personality as like God, praying to them like supernatural authorities, celebrating anniversaries on their death, praying at graves, taking their used material as pious to such an extent that they forget the Creator who created them for guidance to mankind to pray solely to Him (monotheism); in other words, the followers turn polytheist, which is against the mission of those saints and prophets., This phenomenon is described in Surah Al-Maida for the correction of derailed people who believe in three Gods, as revealed in V-5:72-76,” Surely they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) there are no helpers. Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them. Will they not repent to Allah and ask His Forgiveness? For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. The Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddiqah [i.e. she believed in the words of Allah and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth). Say (O Muhammad to mankind): "How do you worship besides Allah something which has no power either to harm or to benefit you? But it is Allah Who is the All-Hearer, All-Knower." So, warning is given to such people,” (V-7:182-183) Those who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), We shall gradually seize them with punishment in ways they perceive not. And I respite them; certainly, My Plan is strong.”

All the chosen prophets or saints (V-2-:151 sent the prophet), being insaan, had instinctive needs and could only preach as directed by the messenger, with human limitations, is precisely revealed in V-13:38-40,” And indeed We sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad), and made for them wives and offspring. And it was not for a Messenger to bring a sign except by Allah's Leave. (For) each and every matter there is a Decree (from Allah). Allah blots out what He wills and confirms (what He wills). And with Him is the Mother of the Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz) Whether We show you (O Muhammad) part of what We have promised them or cause you to die, your duty is only to convey (the Message) and on Us is the reckoning.”

So, irrespectively all the prophets were selected for the assignment of preaching to the followers but they left the world within their Ruh as declared by the Holy Prophet in Al-Kahaf V-17:110,” Say (O Muhammad): "I am only a man like you. It has been inspired to me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God i.e. Allah). So, whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord."

Keeping in view the facts narrated above about those human reaction to a deceased prophet/saint or a deceased loved one, people keep them revived in memory by loving them in the form of sculptures, idols, photos and films, etc., on which they put garlands, celebrates anniversaries, praying ceremonially to such an extent that they take the holy people as equivalent to their Creator, i.e., Universal power of creation God (Allah). Such people are provided guidance for self-correction in V-7: 194-198,”. Verily, those whom you call upon besides Allah are slaves like you. So, call upon them and let them answer you if you are truthful. Have they feet wherewith they walk? Or have they hands wherewith they hold? Or have they eyes wherewith they see? Or have they ears wherewith they hear? Say (O Muhammad): "Call your (so-called) partners (of Allah) and then plot against me and give me no respite! "Verily, my Wali (Protector, Supporter, and Helper, etc.) is Allah Who has revealed the Book (the Qur'an), and He protects (supports and helps) the righteous. “And those whom you call upon besides Him (Allah) cannot help you nor can they help themselves." And if you call them to guidance, they hear not and you will see them looking at you, yet they see not.”

Intentions and Interactions of Ruh

Intention or Mental Set/Predisposition (NIYAT) of a Person

There is no doubt in the intellectual saying that the face is not the index of mind as simple masses are easily tricked by the apparent persona of social, political or religious leaders who play with the pure sentiments of the blind followers. Irrespective of the language (Arabic, English, Urdu, Chinese, German, Punjabi, etc.) of a person, Allah is concerned with the intention or mental set (Niat) of a person, with which intensity, purity, devotion and deep involvement, he communicates with his Master. Allah is aware of the overt and covert behavior as one cannot avoid how he was created in a culture, society, geographical location, etc. There is a misconception in the religious community of Muslims, Jews, Christians, etc., that Allah/God has special privileges for forgiveness or allotment of paradise for them only on the Day of Judgment.

It is repeatedly warned to all mankind that Lord has fixed criteria of judgment for all of His creatures of this world. So, it makes no difference if one is Arabic speaking, male or female, of any sect, caste, color or geographical or ethnic background, as the rules are the same even for the Last Prophet. Facts about treatment of deeds with Niat are described in various ayahs such as in V-80:33-42, V-82:4-19, V-86:5-10, that human (insaan) is by nature careless as warned in V-90:3-11,” And by the begetter (i.e. Adam) and that which he begot (i.e. his progeny); Verily, We have created man in toil. Thinks he that none can overcome him? He says (boastfully): "I have wasted wealth in abundance!" Thinks he that none sees him? Have We not made for him a pair of eyes? And a tongue and a pair of lips? And shown him the two ways (good and evil)? But he has made no effort to pass on the path that is steep.”

All mankind (Ruh/soul) are warned in V-91:7-10,” And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion; Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him; Indeed, he succeeds who purifies his own self (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allah ordered, by following the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds). And indeed, he fails who corrupts his own self (i.e. disobeys what Allah has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism or by following polytheism, etc. or by doing every kind of evil wicked deeds).” and further reminded in V-99:1-8, “When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. And when the earth throws out its burdens, and man will say: "What is the matter with it?" That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). Because your Lord has inspired it. That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. So, whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.”

In the past, certain religious concepts were hard to comprehend about relationship of Ruh and the Creator but thanks to God, the progression in technology has made it easy to comprehend the various concepts which were unimaginable for a layman or atheist about the existence of God, His uniqueness (attributes), programmed universal system, accountability of the deeds done, wireless communications within souls, etc. So, in practical life, an individual can avoid another, but he has a wireless connection with his Originator who existed when that person had no existence in the world. So, it is the Ruh’s interaction with the authority who is invisible, but one can realize His existence through His evidence in the universe. Since the origin of Adam, there has been verbal and non-verbal communication to pass on messages to each other in each tribe or group. So, messages were delivered in the local method of communication as Ruh keeps the basic skill of knowing, feeling, thinking and deciding to react in a situation. Its name varies in different cultures and eras but the Master and his created Ruh have remained even today. Therefore, He listens, understands, and feels the minute message in each living being. So, it is up to a person who applies reasoning in his deeds as expressed in V-2:269,” He grants Hikmah to whom He pleases, and he, to whom Hikmah is granted, is indeed granted abundant good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding”.

Religion always promotes the spirit of welfare deeds and charity for the deprived and needy people with good intentions. It may be fasting or sacrificing for the goodwill, but the purpose is to realize others’ needs and inner feelings. So, during celebrating Hajj or Eid al-Adha, the goal is to eat, share and thank the Provider who is looking at the intentions of His believers, as reminded in V-22: 37,” It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is piety from you that reaches Him. Thus, have We made them subject to you that you may magnify Allah for His Guidance to you. And give glad tidings (O Muhammad) to the Muhsinun (doers of good)”.

Although being Naib with induced Ruh within human (Adam predecessors), the correction of Ruh from false perception of human authority, a demarcation line is drawn with simple example of creating insight in the masses that no one has authority to create or provide except Allah, V-22: 73-74,” O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully): Verily! Those on whom you call besides Allah, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly snatched away a thing from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought. They have not estimated Allah His Rightful Estimate; Verily, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty”. When people conspire and keep secrets, every aspect of the mental affairs and intentions of the individuals are in His knowledge. Therefore, all the overt and covert behavior which is not in observation of others, Allah observes and gets recorded in the account book of a person, V-58:6-7,” On the Day when Allah will resurrect them all together (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and inform them of what they did. Allah has kept account of it, while they have forgotten it. And Allah is Witness over all things. Have you not seen that Allah knows whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth? There is no Najwa (secret counsel) of three, but He is their fourth (with His Knowledge, while He Himself is over the Throne, over the seventh heaven), nor of five but He is their sixth (with His Knowledge), not of less than that or more, but He is with them (with His Knowledge) wheresoever they may be; and afterwards on the Day of Resurrection, He will inform them of what they did. Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything.”

Ruh has no boundary of expression irrespective of age, status or caste. On maturity of physical age, it looks around or a partner of the equivalent frequency to share and feel satisfaction irrespective of age, caste, color or origin and religious afflation; if found, it approaches the other psyche, falls in love and expresses physical needs for self-completion. Therefore, there are abundant cases of love when Ruh enforces a person to take apparently extreme action by paying its price in the form of leaving family, even kingdom, caste, reputation, wealth or luxuries, even losing life and honor to achieve the desired psychic partner. In patriotism or self-honor, Ruh dies by facing the tough battles. Parents, for the sake of children, make mistakes leading them to prison or pay the price for the Ruh’s satisfaction of the dear one as a token of gift of own Ruh’s health or peace. In short, for the sake of Ruh’s peace, all types of achievements became secondary in life as one goes beyond the physical and intellectual capacity of a common person.

It is repeated in the start of most surahs, as quoted in V-14: 52,” This (Qur'an) is a Message for mankind (and a clear proof against them), in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is the only One Ilah (God - Allah) - (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and that men of understanding may take heed.”

Mostly people try to declare themselves as prophet but it is marked by the Creator whom he may choose as a prophet or messenger. No one has a choice to be born with certain sex, IQ, potentials, physical characteristic like color, caste, physical attributes to a certain wealthy family or clan. It is narrated for human awareness about his origin in V-76:1-3,” Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was nothing to be mentioned? Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful.”

For this purpose, He creates certain Ruh who have the capacity to bear the pressure and potentials to carry on the messages revealed to him with power to hold it. Allah selects prophets or messengers as He likes, as warned in V-22: 75-77,” Allah chooses Messengers from angels and from men. Verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer. He knows what is before them, and what is behind them. And to Allah return all matters (for decision). O you who believe! Bow down, and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord and do good that you may be successful.” So, Allah send His message to human beings by selecting a suitable Ruh having capacity to guide and patience to face opposition of arrogant and kaffirs. Ruh is repeatedly warned to comprehend its reality of facing the accountability process by narrating this phenomenon in various ayahs like in V-75:16-19, V-74:3-7 and V-72:26-28, "(He Alone) the All-Knower of the Gha'ib (unseen), and He reveals to none His Gha'ib (unseen)." Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him. [He (Allah) protects them (the Messengers)], till He sees that they (the Messengers) have conveyed the Messages of their Lord (Allah). And He (Allah) surrounds all that which is with them, and He (Allah) keeps count of all things (i.e. He knows the exact number of everything).”

Directions to Enlighten Wandering Ruh

VARIOUS SOLUTION TO RESOLVE A WANDERING, SICK RUH

Ruh wanders around and looks for peace as its life means having feelings, searching with senses, exploring with reason and enjoying with self-satisfaction. So, each Ruh has its own criteria, destinations, potential, capacity, and liking, but the cultural and environmental restrictions bound him to grow at the sensitive state of empowerment. Therefore, when they are repressed, labelled, insulted, crushed, left alone and over-burdened, it physically grows but Ruh remains damaged, pained, and keeps crying like a young bird by a hunter. Physically it grows but psyche/Ruh remains malnourished and acts like a dependent child, confused and restless, seeking relief in gathering wealth, power and status, acting overconfident to hide low self-esteem, etc. At times, he looks for medicines, tranquilizers, pseudo treatments and various crooked role players to seek peace from the internal imbalances of the Ruh who keeps hunting for the right healer to understand his tortured state. Whosoever meets the criteria of the Ruh/spiritual damaged imbalanced self, he holds it for ease and self-survival. It’s up to the healer’s own spiritual and Ruh capacity, honesty and insight that how he touches the regressive Ruh and places it on a balanced path by recharging him to take lead for the remaining unknown time of worldly space and duration.

Since the origin of human beings, intellectuals have been searching to know its origin, why it is derailed and loses control when over-charged by the supernatural living beings during life. As the body perishes and becomes a senseless corpse, losing individual traits or distinction on departing of soul/Ruh, no one is able to hold it. It is reminded in V-14:1,” (This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you (O Muhammad) in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of belief in the Oneness of Allah and Islamic Monotheism) by their Lord's Leave to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Owner of all Praise.”

There are innumerable theories to disclose this myth and people have been debating Ruh since its origin but could not locate its originality. Even in healing services of mentally sick person, there are various versions but three sole aspects are in action. The biomedical and biochemical expert applies it even with ECT to bring a change in the hormones, glands and nervous system in abnormal state but is unable to provide the solution of the origin of such bodily changes. The structural/biological and chemical damage by birth or severe psychoses emerged over prolonged damaged to brain and nervous systems demands such treatment of uncontrolled psychotics for life adjustment and rehabilitation. At times supporting medicines are also recommended to release from acute pains, tensions or obsessed thoughts (under acute rigidity, impulsivity, anxiety, dependent personality disorders, etc.) to improve the therapeutic process for psychic resolutions. It is observed that prolonged medication also leads to addiction, and after effects derail a person to live in a vacuum or artificial state of mind.

The present-day claimant of scientist approach to bring a change through behavioristic tools, emphasize overt behavior and through various therapies try to assume the human behaving like a machine by bringing change in the inner mechanism through conditioned behaving process like counter-conditioning, aversion, reinforcement and various known behavioral therapies. How much its success is possible depends on the cooperation of the patient who under derailment has lost his self-identity and behaves recklessly under the command of the interwoven chess of fancies which cannot be known to any clinician who just provides solution on hearsay, case history, cultural taboos, etc. It is just treating an in-built derailed individual system on if and but narration under the law of causation of human limited awareness about his living class. The progress depends on such cases on a long treatment under conditioned circumstances by preventive measuring or environmental related factors. It is like instructing a child with reinforcement without creating insight to see into built-in cognitive, affective and conative systems.

The third main aspect of healing process is to develop an insight and understanding of the psycho-dynamic process by bringing change within a person itself to create awareness, actualization and motivation for change within the Ruh/Psyche to adjust successfully within its surrounding as an independent unit. Although there are various theoretical versions, the client is prepared according to his issue within the cultural boundaries, sources and facilities, and not to paint with concepts and new colored glasses to see the surrounding from that prospects.

History is full of massacres when civilized nations, for the sake of sociopolitical and economical reputation and power, the psyche turned brutal and destroyed even the blood relations, innocent children, and suppressed masses. So, Ruh/Soul is warned about it in V- I02:1-8. Even in the present advanced era, this practice is on global level to control the poor, developing countries by holding their rich resources to meet the lust of power and possession. Facts are narrated for awareness in V-15:23-25,” And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. And indeed, we know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.”

Having narrated the above human phenomenon, still question appears what the human being’s inner-self is, is it by nature good or bad, sane or insane; what an individual’s potential is, is it controllable or visible; where its real self (Ruh, Soul, Spirit, Nafs, Heart, Mind, etc.) imitates, joins or leaved the body despite all type of medical/physical treatment to hold it; why the body becomes dust with dust on leaving the Ruh from the body, etc.

While involved in study of human behavior, undue importance is paid to body, color, features and organs, ignoring the source of life. Like its creator, it is invisible, free from time, space and worldly restrictions, and travels from childhood to future dimensions without any plan. It cannot be touched or controlled by anyone but can be realized through overt behavior on mere speculation, and then books of psychology can be generated on subjective speculations. When it is over-used under anxiety or environmental pressures, gets sick, or damaged with tortured feelings, it cries and revolts, looking for a spiritual healer with self-awareness, who through interaction connects with the other Ruh and resolves by bringing into its natural flow or state of capacity without an operation. People debate over the terminology of human nature with scientific tools, but it is a challenge that no one can hold or save a Ruh when it departs from the body as programmed by its Originator. They look round and are lost in researches to find its existence or apparent forces, but mere speculation keeps on changing theories except those based on common apparent rules called subject of psychology, human nature, social sciences, etc.

Ruh is free of time and place, jumps thoughts over thoughts under law of association, stores thoughtful data since birth triggered according to individual association pattern of sufferings, unquenched desires, fantasies of childhood, etc.

Although Ruh is marked as a Naib/deputy with knowledge, freedom of choice and senses to discriminate between good or bad, it loses control on the instinctive natural wishes, temperament when ruled by repressed inner self, lacks patience and at times turns arrogant to his own invisible Master. This fact is narrated in Al-Jasiah V-45:23-24.

Even if it has a conditioned environment or a self-controlled situation, it statistically lacks a knowledgeful grip on the unknown intermittent stimuli (created within a system by a third power, Almighty Allah, the Controller of the universal system). This fact is revealed in Surah al-Luqman about human limitations that He knows Qi mat, secrets only Luqman V- 31:34,” Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things).
