Global Psycho-Social Issues and the Qur'anic Analysis

Preface

Human beings are progressing with leaps and bounds but, unfortunately, regressing with the same speed in moral-ethical and social bonds. Human claims a lot but have limited knowledge, senses and power to change his destiny. The universal system is running in a set standard and law of causation by unique Authority; otherwise, it would have collapsed.

Adam’s creation was as rational and creative skills over other creations but lost his superiority due to temptation, power and derailed by his enemy under revenge, till his children re-organized and followed the given directions for which selected prophet guided them from the revealed knowledge to reclaim honor in paradise. Unfortunately, human being instead of setting his mind to follow given direction, gets overwhelmed by the id impulses and blind wishes (Nafs-e Amarrah), and loses insight (Nafs-e Lowammah) in the race of power. To such an extent, that he even loses mental peace by disobeying the Creator’s Will, becomes extremist (abnormal) in deeds, whereas some who obeyed and prayed to Almighty Authority, get high status (Nafs-e Mutmainnah), peace and paradise.

Since the start of human life on this Earth, he is confronting to adjust with nature and often confronting crisis and catastrophes. So, under crisis he looked for help from his Originator through various approaches to address the Creator, who is invisible to mankind. In this regard, the elder intellectuals with a hold on their tribes took the responsibility to approach the unseen Master through attaching extra power to please the angry Lord by developing idols empowered to meet the crisis. In order to please gods of various needs, they started universities, festivals after getting crops and paying attributes with gifts to their preachers, who were taken as special caste with power to help the ignorant sentimental followers. These saints, due to their great character, insight and ceremonial distinction, were taken as the associates of gods. So, the concept of personality worship was infused in the religious practice among all the races.

As such religions were the production of human imagination, God selected the prophets as models of great ethical values and revealed the knowledge for the correction of people. The already-empowered preachers were supported by the wealthy class who were wealthy, holding social control and were involved in corruption and vulgarity; they not only opposed the prophets, but killed them as a lesson to their followers. All these facts are narrated in detail and depth within the holy books (Zabur, Torah, Injeel and The Qur’an) for the historical data on religion and reminded to learn the fate of great kings, nations and old civilization.

No doubt, the ultimate and final Authority and all knowledge is within the Master of this universe. He knows the Psyche (Ruh), its functioning skills, three aspects of Ruh fighting within a person, its causes, preventions, solutions, training, discipline, etc. He kept on sending human prophets from time to time with holy books under his Sole Command (MONOTHEISM) to correct self-made gods and idols of deceased prophets, which people used as personality worship instead of practicing the right direction or following their model of worshipping practices.

Although globally, three-fourth of population believe in the Abrahamic religion (Jew, Christian, Muslim), with the passage of time, the preachers in their lust for control, personality projection and hold on the ignorant sentimental followers, divided into religious rivalry due to fabrication in the concept of Divine power.

In reference to the subject of history of religion, psychology of religion, religious confrontation, sectarian rivalry, the author has presented thoughtful data in his book Psychological Foundation of the Qur’an (three volume). From the psychological point of view, intellectuals and researchers in various civilizations have been trying to present religion through deep study of human psychology, its mental functional skills, creative and social adjustment toward a progressive society. Among all such civilized society, historically established and well-known pioneers are the Greek philosophers. They set down psychology as a science of soul. Later on, it improved to be called science of mind. A remarkable point is that during the origin of psychology, it was a part of philosophy which has its four pillars of knowledge to study the comprehensive study of human beings. These four components of philosophy are psychology, logic, ethics and philosophy. With the passage of time, as psychology matured and become independent, its scope of study, research and discussions stuck to its boundaries and progressed as a unique subject about the mental functioning and behavioral study only. Since that time, the ethical, moral aspects have been ignored and it has turned alike a science, but its sophisticated part of distinction of morality, discipline, religious aspect of a rational human being as far better than animal and animal instinct has been ignored. Therefore, in this modern day civilized world with modern technology, scientific inventions and capitalist affluence, they act like barbaric mammals in killing, organized crimes, adultery, frauds, looting other sources, snubbing the poor, playing with the life, property, land and sources by dominant wealthy, super powers, so-called democratic, educated scientist preparing lethal arms to crush the opponent countries knowing that the whole universe will be at risk in this fight.

At this stage, educated people know the worth of religion, moral-ethical values, practices to get peace, prosperity for a global humanitarian loving society but the human weakness of temptation, fun and pleasures, looking for ease in life, being in control of the maximum in shortest possible time, selfishness and self-projection turn them blind to think life is short and dear ones die before them. The revealed books about human psychology, his weakness, evil spirit, impulsivity with id impulses (Nafs-e Amarrah) insight are provided but knowingly they still want to remain in fool’s paradise till death.

So, human research of psychology with all claims seems to be subjective, each researcher presents his own theory concepts, and laboratory data is gathered by human about the human beings. On the other hand, the Originator, sole unique Creator of whole universal system including living creatures and human being knows all alone better than His own created deputy on Earth as they are confronting and creating evil as immortal children of Adam.

Currently psychology has wonderfully progressed in various fields of human services and played a key role in the appearances, personality and outlook of human personality but, unfortunately, they ignored the real self and Soul/Ruh due to which man has distinction from the other creature. Even the most advanced, wealthy and affluent act like animals in lust and sexual craze, like the nation of Lut; even the APA, who once declared it abnormality during my studies, now take it normal and natural process.

With the abrupt change in science and technology, human beings get crazy in monetary gains in this capitalist race. So, all old values, moral-ethical system, child training, marital bond as a family unit are gradually vanishing. Human sentimental bonds have been commercialized to such extent that with wealth, you can play out your lust without any responsibility of wife or children in a family set-up.

Due to imbalance in psyche, the extremity is prevailing. Therefore, the bifurcation between religion and psychology has discarded human values and richness of social pure and sweet relations. So, whatever new progress may be done in psychology, the rate of abnormality will keep on increasing due to ignoring the growth of self-centered life pattern and over-emphasis on worldly gains till a natural balance between religion and worldly gains is found.

Another phenomenon worth consideration is the serious consideration to work on psyche/soul/Ruh which is ignored as it is invisible and assessed by scientific tools. In fact, it is not the fault of religion or God if they have clouded the religious system. The solution lies in implementing religion and ethical-moral values based on scientific tools of reasoning, observation, thinking with insight through applying it in life affairs. Fortunately, when a truth-seeker applies objectively with creative mind, he finds a middle practical and peaceful path is there to pass life in this world by following the revealed knowledge of the Divine sent to mankind to pass a successful balance life. I have tried to see this missing link after repeatedly objectively studying the Qur’an from the glasses of current psychological achievements, science and technology outputs and capitalist race of hoarding as life mission. You can have the same insight to find facts about this short life-span where you are sowing and will get results over your deeds as one came alone empty handed and will face his Creator with his own account book and no own will be there to support or help you. At this stage no excuse will help as the revealed direction of the Creator is available but in the luxurious life pattern, we have no time to see rather we make fun of such persons that they are outdated people beating about an old bush.

All mental functioning and behavior is controlled by the Ruh; otherwise, the body is of no use and the beauty for which we worked throughout life is buried in the grave. Fortunately, the worth of the soul’s importance has been realized through IT and artificial intellect. So, this most important aspect which has been ignored but Greek philosophers needs to be revived. This will re-establish the ignored bond of human study. Unfortunately, religious preachers who instead of creating importance of the purpose of life and revealed knowledge in its original forms, have created self-made and exaggerated stories or restricted life principle and the educated and new media-based generation has turned against religion due to their dual personality. Certain religious figures have turned religion into a business to collect alms from sentimental followers to help save them from criminal deeds and recommend them to enter door of paradise on the basis of tokens and provisions.

Keeping in view the universal truth that no one has born on his choice, having no control on future, fate, death, children, wealth, health, peace, property or life affairs as all covert, intermittent and hidden stimuli (like COVID-19) are out of human control but in custody of Allah/God/Bhagwan/Khuda. They have taken the present life while it is a short stay to invest in good deeds and stop from prevented deeds with good prescribed action through self-control and patience. He is given freedom of choice to see how much he obeys his Lord. Unfortunately, people have lost time in race of wealth, power, beautiful women, vulgarity, lands and other temptation and not concerned about death to move for the strict accountability process according to revealed books.

So, we must observe facts of the universe, apply senses and develop insight about the only one Established Authority on how to pass a meaningful and moderate life by controlling the evil temptations, perform prescribed deeds, follow the model of the Prophet (PBUH) and act over the description of holy books to develop a prosper social setup based on mutual rights and duties. So, in coming chapters, I have tried to narrate the scientific data out of the sole reference of the Qur’an, a continuation of holy books of Tora, Injeel, Zabur and references of all the prophets sent by Allah for the guidance of derailed people since the origin of this universe.

In my last research publication, Glimpses of Human Nature and Islamic Guidance for Peace, I have narrated the Qur’anic clinical findings related to human mental illness, scientific research tools, personality issues, mental hygiene principles, etc., so I have added in this book the clinical weaknesses of human beings, the rich principles, and the unique discriminatory title of Divine power for the insight of truth seekers.

In this life, man never considers why he has been given life, universal facilities, health, wealth, family, sources, and power, with no control of death, losses, pains, mental sufferings, etc. Under the scientific and technology boom, human life pattern is changing to such an extent that social, marital and family bonds have degraded and money has become the life goal. The sensitive bonds such as purity in love, sincerity, marriage, and innocent children seem to be at the mercy of circumstances without meeting the psychosocial spiritual needs. “Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" and it is! ISLAMIC PSYCHOLOGY IN COMARISON TO CURRENT WESTREN PSYCHOLOGY

During the process of human own self exploration, various concepts/perspective of human nature have described the potential, and basis of mankind to correct the abnormalities within him. French scholar’s concept of human being as a rational human being seemed close to the Islamic psychology which empowering him as a unique Devine creation with potentials of creativity, exploration and extremities to control/possession of natural resources with eternal life like his Master/Creator of the universe. Mostly under the fast-tracking and self-centered period, even he has lost the status of unique creation in the universe. In fact, due to this temptation dethrones Adam and his wife from the peaceful environment from the paradise. So, since derailment, his generation is fighting to quench his thirst of power and self-survival even at times turned to be a brutal civilized mankind with probabilities of evil spirit like homicidal and suicidal tendencies on this earth. In order to remind and redirect the corrupted Ruh, the Creator revealed the directions for correction for enabling to return to the status in the paradise through noble normal deeds, mankind turns to be extremist in the life-span without realizing the mission of the creator, mostly in the timely worldly directions, the evil spirit prevails in the form of such as

The history of Islamic or Muslim Psychology is as old as the revealing of the Holy Book. The Prophet (PBUH) was the leader to spread the monotheist concept with human dignity, rights and duties, peace and prosperity for a balanced society. The mosque was declared a hub of training and disciplining the masses with knowledge, justice, and social activities; it was a counseling center for the community to pass meaningful life in a disciplined environment for all genders, ages, and even the non-believers in the state.

With the passage of time, scholars and leaders emerged in the mosque as a teaching, training and research center and as translation of other books started; its knowledge was spread in the world. Psychology remained an outstanding subject in the masses as it is related to the study of the relationship of the Creator and creatures, with the direction of following a balanced life pattern. Qur’an is a continuation of holy books sent to follow a dutiful and responsible life. A rich source of human psychology, it has been revealed for the correction of mentally-sick and derailed people who become extremist and lose the prescribed direction of the Creator. So, it has more preventive measures than curative aspects. The concept of accountability after death and demarcation between Allah (God) and mankind was made clear to bring a social bond among the people for their collective role in positive, productive and meaningful relationships.

Islamic history is full of great psychologists and scholars like Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi (865-925) Abu-Ali al-Husayn ibn Abdalah ibn-Sina (0980-1030). According to research, the word for Islamic psychology or ʿilm al-Nafs, the science of the Nafs (psyche), is the medical and philosophical study of the psyche from an Islamic perspective and addresses topics in psychology, neurosciences, philosophy of mind and psychiatry, as well as psychosomatic medicine.

According to Islamic psychology, the treatment of mental illness might include baths, music, and occupational therapy reflecting the great emphasis placed on the relationship between illness of the mind and problems in the body. Medicine would be prescribed in order to re-balance the four humors of the body, an imbalance of which might result in psychosis. Insomnia, for example, was thought to result from excessive amounts of the dry humors which could be remedied by the use of humectants of the body.

As stated in the writings of Muslim scholars, the term Nafs (self or soul) was used to denote individual personality and the term Fitrah for human nature. Nafs encompassed a broad range of faculties including the qalb (heart), the Ruh (spirit), the aql (intellect), and irada (will). It is believed by the western psychologist that Muslim scholarship was strongly influenced by Greek and Indian philosophy by drawing particularly from Galen’ understanding of the four humors of the body, as well as by the study of scripture.

It is recorded that in medieval Islamic medicine in particular, the study of mental illness was a specialty of its own, and was variously known as al-‘ilah al-Nafs (approximately "curing/treatment of the ideas/soul/vegetative mind), al-tibb al-ruhani ("the healing of the spirit," or "spiritual health"), and tibb al-qalb ("healing of the heart/self," or "mental medicine").

The classical Arabic term for the mentally ill was majnoonwhich is derived from the term Jenna, which means "covered". It was originally thought that mentally ill individuals could not differentiate between the real and the unreal. However, due to their nuanced nature treatment on the mentally ill, it could not be generalized as it was in medieval Europe This term was gradually redefined among the educated, and was defined by Avicenna as "one who suffers from a condition in which reality is replaced with fantasy."

As far as ethics and theology are concerned, in the Islamic world, special legal protections were given to the mentally ill. This attitude was reinforced by scripture, as exemplified in Sura V-4:5 of the Qur’an: “Do not give your property which God assigned you to manage to the insane: but feed and clothe the insane with this property and tell splendid words to them.”

This Quranic verse summarized Islam's attitudes towards the mentally ill, who were considered unfit to manage property but must be treated humanely and be kept under care by either a guardian or the state. This belief was similar to that of modern psychology, specifically to Sigmund Freud's beliefs that the mentally ill require help and treatment, as opposed to how society dealt with the mentally ill before modern psychology.

The Qur’an has repeatedly told of such mentally sick aggressors who were destroyed for such deeds. The mental state of such persons is analyzed in V-2: 6-10,” Verily, those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him) warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe. Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allah's Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment. And of mankind, there are some (hypocrites) who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day" while in fact they believe not. They (think to) deceive Allah and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not! In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.”

ISLAMIC PSYCHOLOGY IN COMPARISON TO WESTERN PSYCHOLOGY

(Part II)

As far as Nafs-e-Lowama is concerned, Ruh is blessed with insight, just like a sensitive censor for self-control and self-correction in life. So it is warned that one should apply senses to control Amara (Evil) intensions like Mutatarif (Extremist), Kazeb (Liar), Aneed (Rebel), Zanoon (Subjective assumptions), Khaasem (Argumentative), Mujrim (Incriminating), Mufsed (Trouble-maker), Munkar (Obstinate), Maghroor (Arrogant), Mushrik (Polytheist), Yashkaroon (Ridiculing), Zaeef (Emotionally Weak), Fawish (Shameful deeds/Malicious), Zalem (Cruel), Jahl (Ignorant), Insaan (Forgetful/short memory) Muftenoon (Insane/crazy), Kaluha (Easily dishearten), Farara (Reluctant), Moleenm (Disgraced), Muntasir (Destroyed), Tatamara (Antagonist/argumentative), Muzdajir (Dishonorable), Saroora (Deranged), Aashir (Self-centered), Alaudoon (Crossing limits), Manooa (Miser), Khataea (Sinner), Maazeera (Excuser), Bidaha (Mixing to facts), Sahoon (Lost in direction), Motawabaeen (Punished for Arrogancy), Muqsam (Disintegrator/manipulator), Zahed (Retaliator), Ghafiloon (Callous), Mutufafeen (Cheater), Ghaween (Lost), etc.

Throughout life, there is a constant fight and struggle between Nafs-e-Amara and Nafs-e-Lowman in deciding deeds. This is called life which means restless, anxiety and struggle till the last moment. When Ruh departs from the body then bodily needs and temptation also come to an end. Those who maintain a balanced and moderate line of action based on reasoning have self-control and patience, enjoy life with self-content whereas those who are trapped in flow of Nafs-e-Amara have all and still remain empty or restless in the race of temptations and extremity in life. In short, a Ruh/psyche with Nafs-e Mutmaina enjoys meaningful humanistic moderate life by sharing peace and pleasure with the fellow human beings without any guilt or anxiety. Human beings are reminded that above all a Ruh is created by Allah inside one’s self as stated in V-7:205,” And remember your Lord by your tongue and within yourself, humbly and with fear without loudness in words in the mornings, and in the afternoons and be not of those who are neglectful.”

While finding the current western theory about Freudian concept of psyche which is mostly applied in psycho-analysis by the western, psychic process is centralized in Id, Ego and Superego. During research the Nafs (Psyche), I found this concept is already revealed 1440 years ago in the Quran. The details are placed in my book,” GLIMPSES OF HUMAN NATURE AND ISLAMIC GUIDANCE FOR PEACE”

In it Nafs e Amara that acts like a wild horse and indeed overwhelmingly commands a person to do evil deeds, narrated in V-12:53,”And I free not myself (from the blame). Verily, the (human) self is inclined to evil, except when my Lord bestows His Mercy (upon whom He wills). Verily, my Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." So, in other words, this Nafs is sovereign over us, and human beings are subjugated by it to follow all of its dictates and commands. There is no completion in Islam as it is guided with logic, so narrated to mankind in V-2: 256,”There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghutand believes in Allah, and then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.”

Second type of Nafs is known as Nafs-ul Lawwamah. This word is derived from 'Lom' which means to 'reproach.' At this stage Nafs reaches a point that if it commits a sin, its conscience wakes up and criticizes the doer. This is the first indication that man's Nafs is wakening up and perhaps most men in the world are at this stage. When common men commit a sin, they awaken and become sorry and sad. It is this self-critic that forces some criminals to give themselves up. Lawwamah here means to self-incriminate, to self-reproach, to have blame. So, this is that Nafs that does sometimes bring a person to sin, but then that Nafs self- incriminates, reproaches itself, and feels bad and guilty. So, the sign of this is precisely that the person has such a Nafs that when they commit a sin, they feel remorse, regret, guilt, shame, and embarrassment, and they wish they could take it back, that they never did it, and that they may even intend at that moment never to do that again. So, they are fighting a battle with their Nafs. Sometimes they sin and sometimes they are able to stay away from sin. Mosque is taken as a symbol of social support, guidance and counseling from senior seasoned scholars, center of resolving community and religious issues, center of knowledge, research, social and judicial activities to promote love, respect, belongingness and homogeneity in society). The third way of expression of Ruh, this word has been used in the Qur’an is Nafs-al-Mutmaina / satisfied soul. At this stage, Nafs reaches the stage of certainty; Holy Qur'an V89:27-30) to the righteous as “(It will be said to the pious): "O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction!”Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing unto Him!"Enter you, then, among My honored slaves, “And enter you My Paradise!".

So, Allah Almighty addresses in V75:2 which means two things. Finally, it is narrated that the Creator is aware of individual capacity of a person, but He is Gracious and Kind, so each one will be accounted accordingly, stated in the last verse of Al-Baqra as in V-2:286,”Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. "Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people

The Muslim psychologists and scholars played a key role in serving not only the Muslims psychological ailment but also spread their findings among the non-believers. Unfortunately, with the fall of Abbasad dynasty and attack of Hallaco Khan, library and research data was destroyed and names and contributions of the great Muslim psychologists were after the dark ages renamed by the West.

While thoroughly studying the Qur’an about various nations, I found that Allah has described with analysis and details about the fundamentals of human nature. So, He sent His prophet to direct and guide the derailed people for correction in life time. Besides the positive aspects of mankind, He has pointed out these negative and dominating wild attributes of Human Nature which is addressed in the Qur’an.

I found that mostly the Muslim has lost to follow the pillars of pillars of Islam in pursuit ofwealth, personal gains, power and pride by suppressing the rights of their own Muslims brother. It is surprising to note that Allah sent His prophet with revealing of The Qur’an for correction in faith against the polytheism and faulty practices of Bani Israel (Jews) and Nisara (Christians) for forgotten the true messages of their respective holy prophets.

They shall receive the reward of what they earned and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do.”

b) Another miss-conception of certain sectarian heads is like ahele kitab that they are declared a favorite nation of Allah and will be placed in paradise or hell fire would not touch them irrespective of their nature of deeds.

c) Like ahele kitab and Hindus belief, certain religious leaders gets monetary and gifts from the follower as a token that they are empowered by Divine to place them in the paradise inspect of their evil deeds or not performing the obligatory duties of Islam.

d) Like Bani Israel, religious leaders made their own interpretation of the verses of the Qur’an to meet the goals or missions of a specific sect and then preaching hatred propaganda against each other leading to terrorism, bloodshed of the innocent people and toppling the established states in the name and cause of Islam.

e) Like Ahele kitab, the powerful Muslim rulers first divide the Ummah in groups then favors the desired group by crushing the dependent group then favoring them with aids to control their fate.

f) Muslim religious leaders in non-Arab territory are blending cultural values, ceremonial affairs, old traditions as a part of Muslim religion, resultantly the ignorant and blind followers who are dependent on them due to poor knowledge/meanings of the Qur’an are getting far away from the basic essence of monotheism but still they claim to be the true and best Muslims in the Islamic world. It promotes variant categories of Muslim sects in world globe

g) To keep domination among the Muslim countries the wealthy and resourceful Muslims craze for power blinds them to such an extent that they use power and even the military backing of non-Muslim world powers (Ahele kitab/Christians) to crush their own Muslim brother’s states to keep a significant Muslim authority of the world. The Qur’an warned to make such ahele kitab as friend in V-5:51," O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust as that take the religion as fun and it is further narrated in V-5:57,"O you who believe! Take not for Auliya' (protectors and helpers) those who take your religion for a mockery and fun from among those who received the Scripture (Jews and Christians) before you, nor from among the disbelievers; and fear Allah if you indeed are true believers."

In short, if Muslims has left the principles of the holy book like Bani Israel, they are treated and will be treated for their disobedience and hypocrisy in the same way as Ahele kitab were treated as narrated in Surah Al-Basra.

In fact, all the religions provide insight toward human development, peace and prosperity among the follower. It releases the people from uncertainty, complexity and anxiety in life as it provides a moderate path in life, peace and tranquility in reciprocal interactions. Unfortunately, it is the human beings who misuse the power of religion for their personal gains or a hold over their follower by playing with the innocent feelings and sentimental attachment for the blessings and approval of the Divine power.

Islam is not a new religion rather it is the continuation of holy religions and prophets based on monotheism. The essential law of Gracious Lord is V-4:48,” Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin.”

As human being is the best creation having senses and reasoning skills and curiosity to explore the world, at time is trapped by his own follies and self-made assumptions by following the ridiculous fantasies about the Creator and ever-lasting Master of the universe. He bows head before his own hand made gods, idols, dead saints/prophets, shrines, objects or even animals as Providers or associates of God.

As a Muslim, I realized that it is of no use to grumble having no control over the worldly miseries, terrorism, or injustice done to suppressed class by the follies of monarchs, super power and capitalist sector of Islamic world that is leading to deterioration in the Ummah. I prefer I should just concentrate in self-correction providing emotional/financial support to immediate family members, friends, neighbors and deprived class for creating peace and harmony in life.

I have observed that the committed Muslims mostly over-whelmed with religious sentiments aggressively responds to a situation without applying their reason in rumors or fabricated stories against the religion over a sentimental hatred speech against the targeted group leading to massive destruction without any positive output.

Historically Abrahimic monotheistic religion is the base of Judaism, Christianity and Islam as revealed to various prophets but over the period the religious leaders with political and personal motive made changes for their personal gains. Personality worshipping emerged over the death of the beloved prophet/saint. In place of understanding the human limitations of the prophets over normal life pattern and sticking to their preaching and following the monotheistic message, they were detracted into self-creative theories of entering paradise without performing good deeds by worshipping the holy persons for their needs.

So, Islam came to support the holy mission by correcting the missing parts in these religions. In this respect Judaism which strictly follow monotheism is the closest to Islam the Christianity which has lost the original theme of a God. In fact, when a person has not directed link with the true meaning s of the holy book revealed primarily in the Arabic language, a common man drives judgments on the hear- say of each other. Perhaps this is the main cause of increasing number of sectarianism and mutual rivalries in the present-day Muslim Ummah.

In the Qur’an, Allah provides witnesses and knowledge to human beings to accept His command with reason. So, there is no compulsion and fear in the religion as it is based on witnesses of nature, logical and rationale in daily life guidance, unlike human being a support and prophecies of the gracious forgiveness of the Lord on repent of all type of sins.

Certain Muslims like Christian have self-imposed restriction and cut off from the routine social life, maybe they try to become as innocent as angels by cutting the normal human needs and instinct on moderate grounds. Some clients have a philosophy that even thoughts of committing sins should be controlled. Such self-imposed restrictions appeared in the form of compulsive-obsessive disorders, so some loses self-control on the thoughts, other turned aggressive and hysterical behaviors. Resultantly some passes time in self-cursing and self-punishment by ignoring the great blessings of God who stated in surahs Al-Rehman that how you not describe the great blessings of Allah by enjoying His creations for the mankind and jinn’s. Psychologically, such extremists and phonetics in religion waste time in a thinking process of self-created mental court in which through self-created guilt feelings with a possible Devine punishment, hell fire to repress the human nature, avoid public interaction for not to be exposed of their dirty thoughts. They do not realize that a sin is an intentional forbidden action done for pleasure and is punishable only if repeated knowingly to harm other people but if one does not correct or repent on it, rather made it a regular practice in life. So, uncontrolled negative/evil thoughts are just thoughts and thought to kill or rape someone is not declared a criminal or punished in a court, rather even abnormal or feeble minded has performed an act out of the senses, he is penalized for it. God has described the nature of mankind based on Adam who despite the favorite and distinctive creature in the universe, forget the restricted conditions and later forgiven means to error is human and forgiveness is the gracious power of the Master. God loves when one repents and ask for the forgiveness as the Creator knows the individual nature, capacity of tolerance and potentials of performance within an individual, foe which He will test and decide on the Day of Judgment, otherwise arrogant would be free to do the evil/aggressive deeds in life-span.

An ordinary person cannot turn by crushing his nature to be a Prophet who was controlled and guided as a chosen person for a Devine task, or an innocent angel who has no instincts or emotions. In fact, religion is a natural simple way of life by following the balanced life under fair criteria with rights and duties in a social set up. It does not bar for profession, research or personal achievements. Suppose for sexual satisfaction if one marries consent of a opposite sex in bond/agreement on maturity, without getting involve in cultural social standards like wealth, caste, status etc., then lot of psychological ailments or crimes (killing, delay marriages, legal suits etc.) would have not merge in a civilized world. Therefore, it is not the fault of religion rather the cultural restrictions/interpretations or personal needs and standards but religion is used to blame such actions. So, sexual provocations without marriages have corrupted the society.

Personality worship is form of polytheism in which a person debars the authority of his Creator. Although all human beings are psychologically equated but human beings themselves think and worship abnormally by looking their own fellow human being as superior to them and associate with the Immortal Sole Authority and Creator of all the living or non-living objects as being run in the universal system in a programmed order by Him. (Surahs like Yunus, Israel Al-Nehal explains this phenomenon for comprehension it at human level).

I would like to request the truth seekers read to invest some time in comprehending the Qur’an verses seriously at least Al-Baqra (2), Al-Imran (3) and Bani Israel (17) to know the monotheism with wisdom to pass a peaceful and meaningful life.

Unfortunately, Muslims are aware about their religion but they just talk other and put emphasis on preaching/advising other but blank in actions. The lack patience and temptation for power and control the other dominates over good deeds. The present-day terrorism is the after shoot of this craziness which has turned against the promoters and now irrespective of time and space world is facing this cancer, so it is right saying,” As you sow so shall you reap.” In fact, nature (God) has set rules for all His creature the mankind irrespective of their status, education, profession, sex, religious dignity (prophets). The Qur’an has repeatedly quoted that no doubt each and everybody will be accounted for his deeds on rebirth as Allah is All-Justice and will everyone according to his potential and his effort to meet the set standard.”

Keeping in view my life long experience of eastern and western educational and religious aspects of human nature, I feel that it is an alarming moment for the Muslim scholars/social scientist to explore the rich treasure of the Qur’anic knowledge of 1440 years ago with logic and reasoning and develop a bond with the current tools of psychology. So, they need for an awareness with objective tools to explore the hidden/ignored Natural hidden dimensions.

*Why we need to get the natural knowledge under the present flow of mechanical/behaviorist approach for the Human beings

*How capitalistic race with self-centered human production has derailed the society

*Why we need to introduce courses and research trend on the established Knowledge of the Qur’an

*How it is superior to western personal social, time-oriented theories

Knowledge is there but needs modern methods and modes of research with communication sources to mobilize the young generation (enchanted by the western knowledge superiority over outdated Mullah’s approach)

Over 100 million under age 25 year if not properly given humanistic knowledge will be derailed towards extremism/ atheism/capitalism turning human being’s mechanical in nature with a vacuum or mental derailment.

Social scientist in Pakistan unintentionally follow the western trends without realizing the cultural disparity, so need to be more socially and culturally bent toward human nature, in research tools, aware of the language impacts and/or local factors in place of copying the western glasses in driving conclusion on human beings. Pakistani Researches are mostly theoretical oriented in place of main field-based realities (environment).

Social scientist needs to be integrated within various disciplines, global and cultural oriented by integrating the Islamic/The Qur’anic paradigm, applied in various aspects of human relationship. So, preference should be given to human values (not animalistic research of living beings). In place of paying attention in collecting psychometric data, it should relate to the 1440 years unchallengeable knowledge of human civilized rational human beings (Naib) and translation of The

Qur’an may be used to compare with current theories.

The primary goal should be to figure out the Qur’anic data in applying for the human mental health rule and social system to resolve the increasing trend of mental strain and environmental stress in current social/global issues.

Prof/teachers should be made aware in the social sciences departments about this ignored area of The Qur’an. It will add human individual growth and social integrity leading toward social harmony and mental tranquility in the masses. The main task is to teach/train and made aware the Muslim Llama who lacks awareness of human psychology and are unable to apply it with modern tools with logic and reasoning, resultantly people are scared and ignore the outdated preaching tone (fear/hell in pace of blessings/forgiveness of the Master).

Most of the present-day social traumas like terrorism, women killing, family rivalries etc. are the result of ignorance, misinformation, disinformation with negative reinforcement of the Islamic values as interpreted by Mullahs to the ignorant masses. Unfortunately, no one pays attention to the root’s causes. In fact, Middle East is burning due to ignoring the social, cultural and religious sectarianism which are originated by the clever, selfish Muslims who are applying for personal agenda (under the law of compulsion in religion which is against the spirit of the Qur’an).

Unfortunately, scholars do not realize the scientific basis of the Qur’an which is based on the established scientific properties like law of observation, law of causation, drawing conclusions on reasoning and logic leading to prediction, with terminology, references, an interlink with variant discipline of life, a practical common based knowledge, describing past, present and future of mankind for the foresight of mankind. It facilitates further curiosity and research. (It can be achieved only by comprehending each line in place of ritual recitation for blessings) I feel each topic and sub-topic of this three volumes research data on the Qur’an welcomes to have research on various aspects of social sciences/human beings which will generate new horizon in human peace and prosperity leading to a prosperous integrated society. It will enable us to integrate the present social researches with the present western data.

Professionally I got insight that in the present century a smart mentally healthy person always trusts on his self by living within the means and sources provided to him by the nature. He has least dependency on other as the cultural as well as moral values has been colored by social media to such an extent that a normal person is tempted by the pasteurized colorful life and has been fooling the masses for restlessness to buy their projected thoughts and products. The complaint of elders about modern age is genuine as the caring and sharing among human feelings are fading by materialist pursuits and greediness in the individuals. All that glitters are not gold. People have turned crazy and selfish in nature to gain maximum in shortest time to impress the fellow human beings. The artificiality in various section of life has turned human like a robot till it ends.

There is no place for extremism or terrorism in it as Islam means peace, protection of the Lord, meet or enter and close the regular prayers with words Assalomo-ilacum. Allah will greet the people with good deeds with this world and such people will enter the paradise gate by the angel with the word Assalomo-ilacum means enter under the protection of Allah with peace. I am at a loss to understand how so-called Muslims who has defamed Islam through terrorist activity has adapted this profession which is contradictory to the basic concept of Islam means enter peace by submission to Allah.

One need not to go and worry about the philosophies and hard theories to pass successful and meaningful through the world literature or research as Islam has provide simple, meaningful, moderate, easy and mutual sharing the sources and helping the deprived one as Allah has promised that he is great provider of the living being in this universe, as even a worm under stone and a bird get the food for living. It does not mean that human beings should sit idle and Allah will work or earn for them. He provides sources and opportunity to gain according to labor but one should not become crazy like animal to hold a control on other’s possessions. He occasionally gives shocks to human beings like sickness, losses, storms and shortage in life to warn the human beings about their limitations and dependency on the Creator of the ever-lasting authority of the universe. So, one need not worry about too much about future or the dear ones as He is running this universe in a programmed system like a computer-based IT system. So, one just need to trust with strong faith and believe on Allah, enjoy the nature, pass a simple life by following the guideline with submission to His authority as He is immortal and Master of all since His creation of the universe till its result. His blessings are for all irrespective of age, sex, caste, status or place.
